I've been on Zithromax for over 6 months and had the most serious side effect of a stomach bug. It's also been causing me to have a constant cough for around 4 months (I'm 60). I've been taking my Zithromax daily for the past year and am worried that the side effects are going to persist even after I stop taking it.
As a doctor, I have never experienced any issues with Zithromax. However, I'm not sure if it might have anything to do with my thyroid or something else. Does anyone have any insights?
